We all need hero’s. It’s a part of our maturing process to try to emulate those who have accomplished much with their lives. However, we don’t have many people who qualify these days.
I would, however, like to suggest that there are a few. Here is one you may not have heard of before. Her name is Irena Sendler and she is a heroine of the highest order and you can see her story here: http://tinyurl.com/5basx6. Her daring and courage are truly inspirational. So much so that she was recently considered for the Nobel Prize.

This video ends with a political twist that is probably best ignored. However, the jist of the story still rings true: A) Hero’s often face grave danger, and frequently pay a high price for their deeds, and B) it often takes the world a long time to recognize their accomplishments… if ever.
