Connect Your Laptop to the Internet Through Your Blackberry with Tetherberry!

I have been paying nearly $60 a month for Internet service through my Blackberry until I recently decided I wasn’t using the service enough to warrant the expense. However, I have now learned that all  that has changed thanks to a new service from Tetherberry. All you have to do is download the respective programs to your PC and your Blackberry and connect the two through a USB connection. Voila’! The speeds are close to that of other broadband services and it comes with a bonus- all that Internet that has been lurking in your ‘Berry is now available for free on your laptop anywhere you can get phone service. Not bad, eh?

Oh, but there’s a caveat: the beta testing period ends the 9th. That leaves you just hours to download the programs. After that there will be a charge, but even so, a one-time charge as opposed to a monthly fee sounds like a bargain!

(editors note: The beta testing of Tetherberry is over so the program is no longer free. However, a fully functional copy can be purchased for a one-time charge of #39.99 here: http://www.TetherBerry.com/)
